Bridge Program
What is the Bridge Program?
The Bridge Program supports Certified Peer Specialists (CPSs) reentering their communities after incarceration or institutional care. Designed for CPSs with lived experience in mental health or justice involvement, the program provides transitional support, resources for certification, training, and employment, and connections to statewide peer organizations. By leveraging personal recovery journeys, the program empowers CPSs to help others in similar situations while strengthening the behavioral health workforce. Its goal is to ease the shift from institutional life to meaningful community living through peer support, advocacy, and ongoing education.
