Working with individuals with co-occurring disorders poses unique challenges to providers due to the complex nature and impact of these conditions on overall functioning. Integrating treatment of both conditions is critical, as is helping individuals identify motivational goals and strategies. In this training, participants will learn about the treatment and support needs of people living with cooccurring mental health and substance use disorders. The training will focus on engagement and motivational strategies to help a person develop and achieve their own recovery goals.
